Born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in and by Scarborough, Ontario, Kevin is the founder and editor of Gangalee Media—a literary hub with a perspective shaped by the art, music, food, and culture of the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora.

A writer/poet who believes english as spoken by most english speakers is an indecent language, Kevin was once one third of the team behind MetAnotherFrog, a popular dating, relationship and sex-focused blog that published a collection of stories called Asses to Asses, Bust to Bust (yes…that was the title).

An experienced arts administrator, play-play musician, and sometime DJ, Kevin has released one album (Ground Provisions), two volumes of poetry (Love Universes All Things and Bedroom Bully) and collaborated with numerous musicians and dancers throughout the Greater Toronto Area. You can also find Kevin’s work in T-Dot Griots: An Anthology of Toronto’s Black Storytellers, Paranoid Jack’s album The Last of the Funky Cyborgs and most recently in Pree magazine.

Kevin also loves mangoes...loves bammy...hopes you don’t know what bammy is because that means more for him...loves four letter words and the sounds they sometimes make...loves reggae...loves finding hidden meaning in things...belives less is more...more or less.
